Desktop Icons...Resizing
I don't want it cluttered up with huge icons. I have seen some "custom desktops" where you can have only a very few icons, even ones that blend in with the desktop image. I guess each icon provides a menu or somesuch. I surely can't remember where I came across these things (I have no use for it myself),

I can even resize it as part of the setup for my GUI interface. I can make it as small or as big as I need. One can not do this with pictures of text. Yes, a small number of apps allow for resizing of icons, but only one alternative! ? What do icons have to do with this argument? Icons are not text.

So, the problem is NOT with Kicker, but AJS's remark: << [U]se an icon theme that is complete, eg has 64px app icons. is WRONG. KDE is supposed to resize icons as needed. I find that as a work around that if I copy the needed KDEClassic 48x48 icons to the HiColor 64x64 directory that they are then displayed.
