I really think microsoft should consider for the next realse to reduce the size of the desktop icons or let the user resize them thereselves because i think they are very big and make your desktop look a mess

Resizing Icons
You can resize them and change the spacing between.

I dont want the classic view as my theme is there any other way to do this?

The setting they mention only applies to the size of the icons. It doesn't change the overall theme to "Windows Classic"

1>ok open Control panel
2>appearane and personalisation
3>ease of accese center
4>make the computer easyer to see
5>fine tune dislay effects
new window opens - apperance settings
6>advanced... tab

To Resize Destop icons, Click on your Desktop, Hold down the Ctrl key and use the Scroll wheel on your mouse, up makes the Icons bigger , down makes the Icons smaller.
